Gran-Lee Electric has been heavily involved in many industrial projects since the early 1980s, including Water Treatment Facilities, Water Pump Stations, Waste Water Treatment Facilities, Waste Water Pump Stations, and Oil and gas Skid Packages. We are a small family-owned business that specializes in Instrumentation, Controls & Automation. Some travel will be required. Job sites are located in Calgary, Chestermere, and the surrounding area.

Previous Job Experience:

• At least 2 years of electrical apprenticeship preferably in the industrial/commercial sector.
• Please include the previous schooling.
• Please include previous job experience and details of work done previously.
• Any previous industrial experience would be an asset.

Gran-Lee Expectations

• Good communication skills and collaboration with other employees or other trades.
• Read and Execute Electrical Blueprints
• Bending and Install EMT, PVC & Rigid Conduits (Hazardous areas)
• Interpret CEC (Canadian Electrical Code)
• Help build Gran-Lee within
• A willingness to learn and the ability to communicate well with others
• Is willing to travel to work with own transportation.
• Taking safety seriously and making it a priority.
• Punctual and committed to time-sensitive matters and daily start times.
• Willing to implement technology in the workplace regarding daily paperwork and tasks.

Job Requirements but not limited to:

• Valid Driver’s License (Clean Record)
• Registered Apprentice or Red Seal Journeyman
• Previous Controls and Instrumentation experience is helpful.
• Own Hand Tools and or Power Tools
• Reliable Transportation
• Standard First Aid/CPR
• WHMIS
• Confined Space
• H2S
• At Least 2 years in the Industrial Electrical Trade

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$38.00 per hour
